জল থৈ থৈ শরীর রে তোর
জোয়ার জোয়ার খেলা,
ওইখানেতে আমার ভেলা
ভাসবে না এইবেলা।

উথাল পাথাল দেহ তোর
ভাঙছে হৃদয় কূল,
উতলা প্রাণে নৌ ভাসানোর
করবো না আর ভুল।

ভাঙেছে নৌকা,ছিঁড়েছে পাল,
চলেছি জীবনভর,
ক্ষত দাঁড়ে কেমনে এ তরী
বাইবো তোর উপর!

দূরের থেকে দেখাস ভালো
বাঁধ ভাঙা তোর স্রোত!
নদী হবি যখন রে তুই
ভাঙবো তখন ব্রত।

Water is flowing in your body
Tide tide game,
My raft over there
Don’t float now.

Uthal pathal deh tor
Heart breaking,
Floating the boat in a hurry
I will not do wrong.

The boat broke, the sail broke,
I’ve been here all my life,
How can this boat stand on the wound
Bye on you!

It looks good from a distance
Your current broke the dam!
When the river will be you
I will break the vow then.
